The Red Bull Signature Series site and mobile applications supported Red Bull's yearlong series of high-octane events with a unique second screen experience. People could watch the events live on the site or their mobile devices and follow the comments and social activity in real time. After an event, a video-on-demand would be made available, synced with all of the activity from the live event.
I produced the post-launch phase of the site as well as the launch of the mobile applications. The largest challenge was to set up a process that could quickly and efficiently handle a stream of direct requests from the project's four client stakeholders without the need for a 24/7 team. The project needed support through the end of 2013 so I helped set up the appropriate long-term production resources and authored a detailed maintenance agreement which included process documentation. We also worked through a large crisis involving conflicting MySQL database hostnames.
